Striped Angora Raglan

With the exception of a few stripes across the yoke, this crewneck pullover follows the basic raglan chart in The Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns without deviation. It’s worked in the round from the bottom up with stripes beginning about an inch before the armhole on the body and sleeves, then extending into the yoke. The raglan “seams” are worked by pairing right- and left-leaning decreases adjacent to each other, forming prominent diagonal lines from the armholes t the neck, and causing the stripes to bend.
