Measuring Gauge

Few of us enjoy knitting gauge swatches. However, a gauge swatch is key to having a sweater (or anything that needs to “fit”) end up the correct size. All too often, knitters find themselves with a sweater that’s either too big or too small. In this one-hour class, you’ll learn the proper way to knit a gauge swatch, block that swatch, and steps necessary to measure it properly so that there will be no surprises in the size of the resulting sweater.

A worksheet for measuring gauge will be provided.
