California Bound

Today I’m headed to Southern California to teach at three different venues. I’ll be teaching Shadow Knitting, Intro to Sweater Design, Socks At Any Gauge, and Intarsia in the Round at Yarn del Sol in Mission Viejo on July 16 and 17.

Then I’ll be at Yarning For You, a new shop in San Marcos, to teach Shadow Knitting, Socks At Any Gauge, Matching Cast-Ons and Bind-Offs, and several forms of Kitchener Stitch on July 20 and 21.

I’ll end up at Wild Fiber Studio in Santa Monica, where I’ll teach Flexible Cast-Ons and Bind-Offs, Intarsia in the Round, and Steeks and Zippers on July 23 and 24.

That’s a lot of classes that require a lot of handouts! (By the way, the mug is from Creative With Clay!)

I’ve spiffed myself up a bit and painted my toes to match my sandals!

I’m particularly looking forward to this trip because it will take my mind off my upcoming thyroid surgery, scheduled for July 27.

  1. Yarn del Sol is my LYS, but I can’t make it to your classes because we have family in town from Ireland. I’ve been a wee bit jealous of the lucky attendees every time I get a reminder email this week! 🙂 Have fun!!! It’s a great shop!!!
