I’ve just finished Row 7 of the top of foot and toe toe shaping on my version of Jeny Staiman’s Vanishing Point socks from New Directions in Sock Knitting.
I now have 93 stitches on each needle. The markers indicate the boundaries at the base of the cuff, beginning of the heel, and beginning of the toe. I’m beginning to see the sock shape emerge (cuff on the left; toe on the right).
I must say that this is a fun construction and I love the way the gradient yarn is producing blurred stripes around the center diamond!
