My husband calculated that in 44 days, I was home for a total of 54 hours, 30 of which I spent sleeping. During that time I went to Melbourne, Sydney, and Penrith in Australia; Salida, Colorado; and Portland, Maine. I had planned to Instagram events on my trips, but I managed to disconnect my Instagram account and was unable to use it until recently.
Now I gearing up for my niece’s wedding this weekend. But before I turn my attention to those festivities, I’d like to share a few images of classes I taught and places I’ve been.
These three images are of classes I taught at Morris & Sons in Melbourne (left) and Sydney (right). The center photo is an assortment of the completed socks from the toe-up sock class in Melbourne.
The next three images are of birthday gifts given to me by my most exceptional hosts. Can you believe that cookie bouquet? I admit that I didn’t have the nerve to try the Vegemite, but the Anzac and Tim Tam biscuits were terrific! My suitcase was too heavy so I had to leave the tomato sauce at the hotel. I hope someone’s enjoying it!
The following five images are of the trip my husband and I took to the Blue Mountains after I finished teaching.
I’ll post more images later. Try not to feel sorry for the long flights I had to take to get there and back.
It looks so beautiful there! What a fun place to spend your birthday!!! I imagine that the knitters in AU are just as amazing as the knitters in the US. They look like they are having a super fun time!!!
Oh, those beautiful Blue Mts.
