More Goat Herder

I’ve been knitting away so happily that I haven’t stopped to post photos of my progress. I know that a lot of you don’t like knitting the same thing twice, but I’m finding it very satisfying to just follow a pattern that I’ve already knitted. I know where I’m heading and I know when I need to pay attention.

Not only did I begin the chevron pattern around the body, I also complete the third skein of yarn.

And I’m nearly done with the fifth (and final) repeat of the chevron pattern on the back. Now that I’ve divided the front and back for the armholes, there are a lot fewer stitches in each row and my progress should increase exponentially.

  1. here I am again anxiously awaiting the completion of the sweater. I love the color, I think it displays the chevrons nicely. The drape or weight of the yarn is much more evident as well–it looks substantial and manly. It will be a classic and or classy pattern.
