I typically don’t watch much football but I have become increasingly interested in the Broncos’ rise to the top of the AFC. Like much of America, I plan to watch the Superbowl this afternoon. Although I’ll be delighted if it’s a close game, I won’t mind if one team (hopefully the Broncos) dominate.
The reason? I haven’t had much time to knit lately and I’m looking forward to a few uninterrupted hours devoted to knitting. I have until kickoff at 4:30 pm today to search through my stash and decide on my next project. The amount of knitting I get done will depend entirely on the game: if it’s exciting, I won’t get far; if it’s dull, I’ll make a lot of progress. Either way, I win.
Having lived in Colorado when my children were small, I became a football fan, more importantly a Broncos fan! That was during the Elway years & we have been die-hard fans ever since. We are all hoping for an exciting game & of course a Broncos win! I will be knitting along with you. Enjoy!
Best use of superbowl time ever!

Knitting during during football does take away some of the boredom. We are season ticket holder for St
Louis
Ram. Need I say more!
I managed to get a button band added to a sweater that had been languishing. We’re Pats fans, but were cheering for Denver. Now I’m inspired to get the buttonhole band done!
Oh, woe is us! What a sad game for Broncos fans. Got a lot of knitting done though!
