A Disappointing Night

I’m glad that I’m not a die-hard Bronco fan. It seemed that they got all the bad breaks in the Superbowl while Seattle could do nothing wrong. I think that even if I had been rooting for Seattle, I would have gotten a little bored by the fourth quarter.

At least I had my knitting to occupy my hands. Otherwise, I probably would have gorged myself on nuts and nachos as I watched the rout unwind. But I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped. I spent far too much time staring at the television in disbelief. All I have to show for the night are a few small swatches.

superbowl swatchesI can’t reveal the purpose of the swatches because they’re for upcoming projects that I’m not at liberty to talk about yet.

  1. Sorry for your lost game. But, after the Steelers, the Seahawks are my favorite team. I am a happy, happy fan. I did get some knitting done between cheers. Can’t wait to see your next project!

  2. I am intrigued, love your swatchs especially the cable…. I am going to completely ignor football! 🙂

  3. What are the yarns in your swatches? The green looks plump and soft. Love the tweedy-heathery look of the gold yarn.

  4. The green is Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 (100% wool) in Pesto; the gold is Dream in Color Smooshy (70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon) in Amber Glass.
