It’s Been A While

I feel somewhat like a bear that’s been hibernating through the cold, dark winter. Actually, I’ve let my blog lapse while I turned my attention to other things. This promises to be an interesting year, but you’ll just have to take my word on that.

To get things back on track, how about another raffle? Respond to this email and tell me which of my print books you’d like and I’ll use the random-number generator to choose a winner on Friday, January 31. Seems to be a fitting end to the month!

  2. I think the Scarf Style 2 as I want to make scarfs for the little ladies at a near by nursing home.

  3. I’ve been interested in learning how to knit a sweater, so the Top Down Sweater encyclopedia would be a wonderful addition to my library.

  4. Roxanne Bourassa

I would love ” Lace Style Traditional to Innovative 21 Inspired Designs to Knit” please and thank you for the opportunity

  5. I love to knit gifts for my family and friends. ScarfStyle 2 is filled with great ideas. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.

  6. Pat (Alicesmom on Ravelry)

I would like The Knitter’s Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters. The e-book is great but there is nothing like holding the real book in your hands.

  7. Karen Hurchinson

Too bad I have most of your books. But I am missing the Top Down Sweater one. So that would be my pick if I should be so lucky.

  8. Knitters Handy Book of Patterns. I have just started my collection with Getting Started with Socks.

  9. Barb Holzknecht

    Hi and Welcome Back!
The book of Knitted Gifts would be a great addition to my collection of your books.

  10. Ohh! I’d like Scarf Style 2 but I’m teaching a friend to knit so I should probably say Getting Started with Socks for her!

  11. I would love to have the Knitter’s Handy book of Top Down Sweaters. I hope that during your hibernation you have had a chance to get some knitting in! Stay warm!

  12. One of my goals this year is to finally knit socks, so Sock Knitting Master Class would be great!

  13. Wow, what a nice and fun thing to do. Thank-you! If my post was chosen I would like Scarf Style one or two. I have almost all of your other books.

  14. I have several of your books and really like them. I’ve been thinking that the Top Down Sweaters would be a great one to add to my collection. Can’t wait to hear about your interesting year. I’m sure it involves knitting. Thank you for this opportunity to win one of your books.

  15. The Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns is my choice. Thanks for offering this raffle. These are fun, even when I don’t win.

  16. I was already thinking that something strange was up with my feedreader, but there really were no new posts. Just remember that the days will be longer each day. And that would make for better lace knitting and for that I would very much like scarf style 2.

  17. Broke my kneecap and I’m not doing stairs yet so I can’t go upstairs and see which of your books I own and which I don’t. If the r.g. picks me could I tell you then? Hopefully I’ll be able to do both stairs and maybe drive in a week or two!

  18. How I would love to have scarf style 2. These days I am in scarf and cowl knitting mode. I guess it is because I am getting tired of the cold weather.

  19. I would very very much like Top down sweaters, but all of your books are making me kinda greedy 🙂

  20. Welcome back! I’d love either Scarf Style 2 or Simple Gifts – you can choose for me 🙂 I hope by interesting you mean challenging but not overwhelming. Having just gotten through a very difficult year myself, it was a relief to see the calendar change over to 2014.

  21. Oh, wouldn’t I love
Scarf Style 2. Your other books are really the best. I think all knitters should own your Top-Down, and both “Handy” books. Just so you know, this is not info I keep to myself, I tell everyone!

  22. I think I have them all (!) but would would love to give “getting started knitting socks” as a gift

  23. I would love to have the Knitters Handy book of Patterns, It has just what I need. It is one of yours that I don’t have yet. Thanks Ann

  24. Here’s hoping interesting = beautiful!
    How to choose just one?
I think the Top Down Sweater book would be awesome – I like the idea of knitting in one piece.

  25. Your book “The Knitter’s Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters” looks great! Knitting this way seems to be more time-saving and enjoyable!

  26. I’d love to have any of your sock knitting books except for Getting Started Knitting Socks (which I already have) or any of the Knitters Handy Books (except Top Down Sweaters, which I have). All your books look great!

  27. Kristine Nielsen

I would love Sock Knitting Master Class. I know what you mean about the winter hibernation–this winter has been brutal!

  28. Laura from beautiful West Michigan

Scarf Style 2 or Sock Knitting Master Class, please. Thanks for your generosity!

  29. Brenda in Boston

Oh! How great! I have several of your books already (Favorite Socks is my favorite 🙂 no pun intended), but have been eying Top Down Sweaters for a while now. Thanks!

  30. I have several of your books and they are used frequently. One I don’t have, but would love, is the top down sweater book. I’m finished up a top down raglan pullover now, but would love to learn the other top down sweater techniques.

  31. Debbie Schmuker

Knitted Gifts is one I do not have and would love to add to my library. Thanks for the chance to win.

  32. It’s a dead heat between sock knitting master class and knitter’s handy book of top-down sweaters – but sock knitting master class got typed in first – lets go with that! Thanks for the winter cheer-up

  33. Scarf Style 2 would be my wish. I’m determined to knit from stash this year and knitting scarves fits well with my plan. I use Scarf Style 1 often but don’t have book #2.

  34. Hi Ann, I would really like a copy of Scarf Style 2. I would like to expand my knitting skills and a scarf is a good project to try different techniques.
