Today I’m on my way to Canandaigua, New York, to attend the Knitter’s Review Knitting Retreat, sponsored by Clara Parkes herself.
I’ve taught the last three years at the Retreat, but this year I’m attending, as Clara says, “as a civilian and loving every minute of it!” I even signed up for two classes — Knit to Flatter with Amy Herzog and Knitting Happily Ever After with physical therapist Carson Demers. Color me excited!
If I manage to make all of my connections, and don’t oversleep, get blisters, or pull the handle off the shower faucet, this will be a most excellent trip!

Good luck, Ann. I’m crossing my fingers for ya! 🙂
Enjoy!!!! Wishing I could be there – maybe next year.
Ann, I’m the “founding momma of Cactus Needles Knitting Guild (Phoenix, AZ, USA estab.1994) I would like to share your Magical Formula for Placement of Increases and decreases as a little “holiday” magic. CNKG is a 501-C3, May I please have permission to make this information available at one of two gatherings –Knitting lunch on Nov.23rd- or the Holiday Party on December 2nd, 2013. Thank you. We love your work, own almost all of your books and smile when we think of YOU and Great Knitting Guidance!
