The warm weather has slowed down my knitting but I’ve completed the body of the Weekday Raglan (from page 92 of The Knitter’s Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters). You can almost see the waist shaping in the photo below. It occurred to me that I could turn this into a nice little cap-sleeve summer top if I just put ribbing on the held sleeve stitches. But while the fabric is beautifully soft, I just can’t see wearing a merino-silk top in the summer heat. Besides, I’m enjoying knitting this sweater and I know I’ll wear it more in the cooler months.
