eBook Raffle

It’s been a while since I raffled off a book and now that all of my books are available as eBooks, I think it’s time to give one away.
Respond to this post by telling me which eBook you’d like and why (I find this information very useful). Check out my website and click on Apps and Books on the righthand side of the page for a list of all my books. Only books that are currently in print are eligible (sorry, the upcoming top-down sweater book is not included–I’ll hold a raffle for that one when it comes out).
On Monday, February 13, I’ll announce the lucky winner. If I don’t hear back from that person, I’ll draw another name on Wednesday, February 15.
Good luck!

  2. I think I would want The Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, since I already have your Handy Book of Patterns and Getting Started Knitting Socks.

  3. Knitter’s Handy Book of Top Down Sweaters would be my choice. I’m just learning to knit top-down, and would like to learn from a master! Thank you.

  4. I have most of your books, actually. Can’t wait to see the new top-down sweater one.

I don’t have the Best of Interweave book, so that’s the one I’d pick.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. Wow, when looking at the list, I realized I have most of your books too! Really looking forward to the new one!
I would like the e-book of Knitting Green, that’s one of the few I don’t have.

  6. Since I am in love with sock knitting, I would love to have the Sock Knitting Master Class so I can whittle down my sock yarn stash! Thanks for a great giveaway!

  7. Knitted Gifts looks lovely. It’s always nice to have lots of options for small, special knitting projects. 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

  8. I’d like to have Sock Knitters Master Class because I’m stuck in a rut. I always have knit my socks top down and I’d love to learn some new techniques.

  9. I’d like to have Sock Knitters Master Class because I’m stuck in a rut. I always have knit my socks top down and I’d love to learn some new techniques.

  10. I would love ANY of your books. The Knitters Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, Getting Started Knitting Socks, or Sock Knitting Master Class. I own the hard backed version of Getting Started Knitting Socks, and it is my BIBLE!

  11. I’d like the book not yet published, The Handy Book of Sweater Patterns Charts. I own the book but would love just the charts on my mobile device.

  12. I have Handy Book of Sweater Patterns and Knitted Gifts, which is my go-to book for Christmas and birthday and new baby presents. I would love to own The Handy Book of Patterns, so that when I get a late-night idea for a hat or something else I’d like to knit, with some twist or pattern stitch of my own, using yarn from the stash, I don’t have to figure the whole business out on my own. ‘Cause that takes time and sometimes I end up in trouble.

  13. Yowsa! I thought I knew all your books but you’ve been busy. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for your newest.

It is a toss-up between Knit Green and Sock Knitting Master Class but the video tips the scale so enter me for the Sock Master Class and thanks!

  14. Up to recent months, I’ve mainly knit sox. However, my most current interest is sweaters. I finished a Shalom Cardi and can hardly call it a cardigan let alone a sweater.
I’m a bit hesitant about knitting a big investment of time and yarn for a sweater without a bit of an into to sweater knitting.
Therefore SIMPLE STYLE would be my e-book choice.
Your Sock Knitting Master Class hardcover is a treasure in my library.

  15. So sorry! I was so excited to be the first knitter to comment I didn’t read all the way through the post. Second choice would be Bag Style.

    Again…so sorry.

  16. Handy Book of Patterns. I already have this but my DIL borrowed it and lives in another state; want to encourage her knitting but I needed it when I made mittens in December!!
Can’t wait for the new book. It sounds like just what I need for my next project with handspun (when spun).

  17. I would love to win the Color Style ebook. I already have the two Handy Books and Sock Knitting Master Class, and I am really interested in this book on colorwork, the one technique I’ve only barely dabbled in. I love how your books give beautiful patterns and also tips on how to design our own. I think they’re so versatile.

  18. I would like to have Color Style, as I already have almost everything else. Getting Started Knitting Socks, Knitters Book of Patterns and Knitters Book of Sweater Patterns are, in my opinion, necessary to all knitters.

  19. I’d love to have The Knitters Handy Book of Patterns, since I use it constantly and it’s looking worse for the wear. I’d love to be able to print out the pages for each project and leave them in the project bag.

  20. What a choice! I think I have borrowed all of your books from my local library and they are all good. But for owning one, I would have to choose the Handy book of Sweater patterns – I have the Handy book of patterns and this would be a perfect accompaniment.

  21. If I have to pick just one, it will have to be Color Style. Lately I’ve been obsessed with fair isle. I made a beautiful hat using black and self striping yarn. Thanks! Debbie H

  22. Ann

Either handy book of patterns or sweater patterns. To have either or both of these on my iPad would be awesome. I just save the page or two for a specific project and mark it up as needed. Saves me from scanning and doing the same :). Having this info on the road is always a plus too. Thanks again for all of your books.

  23. I’ve had The Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns on my wish list for a while. I enjoy tweeking patterns and would like to start designing some of my own & I’ve been told that this book is a great reference.

  24. what a tough decision! I have a couple of your books already, (and a garter lace cardi on the needles right now) but mostly I go for socks — so the Sock Knitting Master Class would be my choice. Thanks

  26. Hello! I’d love the Sock Knitting Master Class! I am in no way ready for the master class, but like cooks who enjoy reading gourmet recipes, I love reading knitting instructions! (I have to mentally prepare!). The Sock Knitting Master Class book with give me something to work towards, and provide many hours of blissful daydreaming !

  27. Hi Ann, I have most of your books and happily knit sweaters and most other things. But I have always struggled to get going with sock knitting. I love magic loop but dpns are a dark art lol. I think the Sock Knitting Masterclass might be the inspiration and motivation I need to really enjoy knitting socks.

  28. Color Style would be my choice. I’ve just begun simple two color mittens and am loving it. Would adore the book for more ideas and education! Your Favorite Socks book is the most used/loved book on my knitting shelf, by the way. thank you!!!

  29. I would choose the Sock Knitting Master Class, because I’m forever knitting socks on the road and trying to look up techniques or come up with tweaks on the fly, and I could put the e-book on my iphone and always have it with me.

  32. I sound like many other posts, but I also have quite a few of your books already. But if I win, I’d like the Sock Knitting Master Class. It’s at my library, and I have checked it out 3 times. I need to just get a copy!

  33. I also have a lot of your books. I am starting to play around with design, and the master class sock book and the sweater design book are both awesome!
I really love the Wrap Style book. I have always loved the things in it, but never purchased it. They seem elegant. I am practical, so I have not splurged on such a beautuful book (yet!).

    Cindy

  34. I’d choose the Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns. Thanks for doing this raffle!

Weeeell, that is a tough choice. If your new book Top Down Sweaters would be my first pick. Followed closely by the Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns. Thanks for offering up the giveaway Ann!

  36. Sock Knitting Master Class. I borrowed that from the library, and would love to have the ebook. So many socks I want to knit. I’ve only been knitting toe-up socks so far, but one of these days, I’ll try it the other way.

  37. Linda Campbell rav id crosstitchlinda

I would love the sock knitting master class. I have worn out you getting started sock book and thought this might be a good next step

    Linda

  38. Hi Ann,

I have many of your books and I would like an e-copy of Favourite Socks. I have this in print but it would be easier to carry around an electronic version.

  39. Sock Knitting Master Class… I have several of the others and socks are on my list this year! The colour work is especially inspiring in this collection

  40. I would love a copy of Wrap Style! I took the book out from my library recently, only to find that someone had cut out a half dozen patterns. Such an awful way to treat such a lovely book!

  41. I have a couple of your books, but I’d love to get Lace Style. I love knitting lace, and am always on the lookout for interesting lacy patterns of all kinds.

  42. I would love to win The Best of Interweave Knits as I have most of your books. I can’t wait for your new Handy Book of Top Down Sweaters to come out! Linda

  43. I have some of your books, but it was a downright torment, trying to decide which one I’d like to receive most! 😉

I decided on Bag Style. I browsed through a friend’s copy once, and recall seeing several patterns I’d like to knit. 🙂

  44. I have a few of your books & recently purchased the Sock Master Class e-book which is fantastic. I would love the ebook – Knitter’s Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters:as it will be a valuable tool for my top down knitting which I love.

  45. Simple Style please. I have been pondering a larger, more comlex project and your book would be perfect to get me started. Taking the next step up from hats and gloves can be intimidating but I find your books quite easy to follow and encouraging.

  46. I’d love Getting Started Knitting Socks because that’s what I am doing and I already have your Handy Book of Sweater Patterns. I’d prefer the ebook because I live in Turkey and ebooks get here much faster!

  47. Sock Knitting Master Class would be my choice. I love knitting socks and have knit quite a few. I’d say it’s time for my master class:)

  48. I am knitting my way through your Sock Knitting Master Class, from start to finish. I started Half Stranded Socks last night, so I don’t have many pairs left. I must say it has been a great winter challenge working through this book and I have learned a lot. I am feeling the need to work on something other than socks. The Knitter’s Handy book of Patterns would provide lots of options for my next project. Thank you for all the inspiration you have provided. Pat – Alicesmom

  49. I would love to win the master sock knitting book, so many socks so little time right?

  50. I recently purchased your Sock Knitting Master Class book–it’s FABULOUS!!!! I just LOVE it and hope to have lots of time for learning some new sock knitting techniques!

It’s so hard to choose–there’s quite a few of your books I still need, but if I win this raffle, I think I’d like to have The Best of Interweave Knits. Thanks!

  51. After having knitted a lovely pattern from Lace Style, I would choose Knitter’s Handy Book Of Sweater Patterns. It looks like the definite book: everything about sizing and shaping is there. But new books will always be welcome for inspiration!

  52. I would like the Sock Knitting Master Class. I’ve enjoyed watching you knit these up. Also, I am not very good at the toe-up technique and I could use a little help in that area. Thank you for the chance!

  53. I’ve already got quite a few of these, but I don’t have Knitting Green so would go with that one. Thanks for the offer! — Cate

  54. Hi Ann!

Although I don’t have all of your books (yet) the ones that I do have I LOVE! Your personal invitation to Budd’s Buds has sparked renewed interest in all things knitting for me, which I am so grateful for – Thanks!

I am drawn to basic, timeless and classic patterns. If I had to choose a book of yours that I don’t already have I would choose Simple Style. There is nothing more satisfying than creating with well written patterns.

  55. So hard to choose!! I guess I would most like to have either Master Class or the Handy Book of Sweater Patterns. All great books:) Really looking forward to your new book!

  56. I would love to have your new book Top Down Sweaters. Simple Style and Knitted Gifts would be a close second! Thanks so much!!

  57. Getting Started Knitting Socks describes my sock knitting ability. One of these days I will start knitting socks; until that time I will think about it. Thank you for sponsoring the give-away!

  58. I have all your books and love them all. I think the Handy Book of Patterns would be wonderful to have in digital form. I would be able to carry it everywhere on my iPad always have useful information available to me wherever I am.

  59. Hi Ann, I have most of your books and love them all! But I don’t yet have Simple Style and would love to add it to my collection. I noticed lots comments from knitters wishing for your handy book of sweater patterns. I think it’s a “must-have”!

  60. The Knitter’s Handy Book of Pattern would be my choice. It would be so great to have basic patterns for *everything* in a single book!

  61. Favorite Socks. I like reading through sock patterns (that’s not tooo wierd for a knitter, right?) and I’m planning on purchasing the masterclass book.

  62. It would be Sock Knitters Master Class or
Knitted Gifts for me. I would be thrilled with either one of those. I can’t wait for the new book to come out!

  63. I would really, really like Lace Style. Lace is my new infatuation! Thank you for being so kind as to offer your books for a drawing.

  64. I would love to have Knit Handy as my husband is about to retire and would like to travel. I’ll knit while he drives and this would be great to have on my phone to help me when I have questions and no internet connection. Thanks!

  65. I would love to have a copy of Favourite Socks as I am addicted to sock yarn at the moment. This is quite funny as I have yet to knit a single sock.

  66. I am interested in the sock knitting book. I own the handy book of sweaters and the handy book of patterns. I consult them quite a bit so know the sock knitting book would also be an asset to my collection.

  67. I would love Favorite Socks, just because I love sock knitting, and I already have Sock Knitting Master Class (which I absolutely love!). Can’t wait for the new book to come out either.

  68. I’d love a copy of Favorite socks as I already have Sock Knitting Master Class and have had my eye on Favorite Socks for quite a while!

  69. I would LOVE a copy of Lace Style. Lace is something I knit just for myself, oddly enough, and I’m actively planning to do more of it in 2012. (I have a goal of 6 completed projects – larger than accessories.)

  70. I learned to knit socks from the owner of a local knit shop. At first it looked impossible, but after taking the class and finishing my first pair of socks I thought, “Well it wasn’t as hard as I thought”. I still fumbled along when it came to turning the heel and picking up stitches. Well, I bought the Getting Started/Kniting Socks book and became a lover of sock knitting. I went from the doable stage to “I GOT IT this is amazing stage” after keeping the Getting Started/Knitting Socks book on my hip & making the 5 stitch per inch pattern my mainstay. Ann, that book helped to build my confidence w/sock knitting and because of that, I would love to win the Simple Style sweater book!!! I’ve been wanting to knit a sweater and put it off, because I’ve been thinking, “That looks hard”, but it’s stated in the ‘Simple Style” that “there are no intricate techniques”. Making a first sweater with “Simple Style” on my hip, would get me thru the sweater knitting process a little easier as help to build my confidence.

  71. Oh, I hope I win! I would love to have Sock Knitting Master Class since it’s about time I challange myself to knit more than just a plain pair of socks. This book will inspire me!
